Job details :

• Ongoing 10 shifts per month, weekend coverage mostly.
• Facility is preferably looking for a Neurosurgeon with endovascular capabilities.
• Provider must be able to do thrombectomies and clippings so they do not have to transfer the patient.
• Heavy surgical emphasis
• Will not accept a Neuro interventional radiologist.
• Provider must be Board Certified in Neurological Surgery.
• 100% adult
• 50% trauma
• 100% inpatient
• 0-5 hospital based patients per day
• Support Staff : Dedicated CNS for the practice M-F day shift. General Neurosurgery APPs are available at night for general questions from staff. New consults will be dealt by a call neuroendovascular surgeon.
• Surgery volume expected while on call? Average number of patients or hours? This varies at a given time. Must be comfortable with open endovascular procedures, but most procedures are done in the interventional / cath lab.
• EMR : Epic
• 90 day credentialing timeframe
• Will pay for full travel
• See PD for required procedures
