As a Hematology / Oncology Physician, I provide comprehensive care to adult patients, focusing on both hematological and oncological conditions. My responsibilities include managing outpatient consultations and inpatient rounds, with a weekly call rotation to ensure continuous patient support. This position requires an active medical license, board certification, and experience in a clinical setting, utilizing EMR systems for efficient patient management.

  • Coverage Needed

ASAP - Ongoing

  • Schedule

    • Monday - Friday

  • 8a-4p
  • Weekly call 1 day per week, 5p-8a
  • Weekend call 5p Friday to 8a Monday
  • Must be available a minimum of 6 weeks at a time
  • Estimated 20 shifts per month
  • Clinical Details

    • Adults only

  • Clinic and Rounding, Majority in Clinic
  • 13-15 patients per day
  • On the call day provider will be responsible for inpatients (current and new) but these are followed by the inpatient NP who is familiar with all inpatients, making the process of rounding much more efficient
  • 65% Hem / 35% Onc
  • Requirements

    • Active IL license, DEA, and CSR

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible
  • ACLS, BLS
  • Min. 1 year experience
  • Call

    • 1 : 4 rotation

  • 30 Minute Response Time
  • EMR

    • EPIC
