VP Development For Multifamily
Join a growing developer as the VP Development for the Florida market based out of Orlando. In this role you will be responsible for identifying and executing residential development opportunities from initial concept through project completion. The position involves sourcing deals, underwriting, closing transactions, and transitioning projects to the construction phase. Responsibilities span feasibility analysis, design coordination, entitlement processes, financing, and delivery.
The successful applicant will :
- Identify and evaluate new development opportunities through partnerships with brokers, investors, and developers.
- Prepare and present site evaluations, financial models, and market analyses to leadership.
- Build and maintain relationships across the real estate industry.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance of projects.
- Manage due diligence and entitlement processes for land acquisitions.
- Lead project planning and coordinate with design and construction teams.
- Supervise and mentor development staff.
- Ensure projects meet strategic, financial, and design goals.
- Maintain communication with internal and external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

The successful applicant will have :
Bachelor's degree in finance, business, civil / industrial engineering or similar. Should have 10+ years of relevant experience.Extensive experience in property development, including managing a high volume of garden style projectsExpertise in sourcing multifamily / residential development projects in the major Florida markets.Strong leadership and communication skills to guide teams and stakeholders.A deep understanding of zoning, permitting, and regulatory processes.A proven ability to identify and capitalize on development opportunities.Excellent problem-solving skills and a results-oriented mindsetPlease note - this role can be based out of Tampa Bay as well.
What's on offer :
