Overview

A growing multi-site manufacturer serving the Industrial Medical and Defense markets is seeking a motivated Lead Quality Inspector. This role will support the Quality Management System ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards and drive process improvements across operations.

Position Summary

The Quality Inspector acts as a key liaison between quality engineering production and customers. The role involves performing inspections managing calibration systems supporting audits and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform First Article In-Process and Final Inspections
• Interpret engineering drawings / blueprints with GD&T
• Support supplier development and monitor vendor quality and delivery performance
• Facilitate root cause investigations corrective / preventive actions (CAPA) and customer complaint resolution
• Participate in APQP PPAP and Change Control activities

Qualifications

• Associates degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience
• Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing or quality inspection (ISO 9001 preferred)
• Strong knowledge of GD&T and blueprint reading
• Hands-on experience with CMM (PC-DMIS preferred)
• Proficient with Microsoft Word Excel and ERP systems
• Strong communication analytical and problem-solving skills.

Compensation : $50000.00 - $80000.00 per year
