Welcome and warmly greet guests on arrival. Then, manage our guests' efficient and timely seating at a table that best serves their wishes.
- Warmly and graciously greet all guests upon arrival.
- Open the front door for guests entering or leaving the restaurant when possible.
- When immediate seating is limited, record guest names and several people in the party and Provide guests with an estimated waiting time. Invite them to have a drink at the bar while waiting
- Call out the name and number of the party when tables become available
- Provide guests with an estimated waiting time
- Accommodate special seating requests for guests whenever possible.
- Seat guess based on preferences and balancing of customer flow in service stations.
- Upon seating, offer guests a menu and inform them of their server's name. Inspect the table for proper presentation and completeness
- Relay messages to servers and bus persons as needed
- Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return
- Attends all scheduled employee meetings and brings suggestions for improvement
Qualifications
No previous restaurant experience is required.Work standing for extended periods (up to 5 hours).Be able to communicate clearly and effectively in the predominant language(s) of our guests.Must have exceptional grooming habits.
