B ased in Co llege St ation, Te xas, Card ioQuip's Eng ineering In tern w ill col laborate w ith o ur pr oduct dev elopment a nd qu ality eng ineering te ams, a nd as sist in t he re search a nd dev elopment of b oth n ew a nd ex isting pro ducts. In add ition, u nder t he sup ervision of an R &D Eng ineer, in terns w ill a lso con tribute in t he de sign, deve lopment, a nd man agement of o ur de sign a nd dev elopment pr ocess, w hich w ill in clude dev eloping quali ty-assurance a nd de sign pri nciples t hat a re com pliant a nd co nform to 21 C FR 820, MD D / MDR, a nd I SO 13485 : 2016.

Responsibilities

U nder dir ection, Eng ineering In terns sh all :

  • Assist engineering in the design and development of product(s)
  • Assist the engineering team in the design, development, and management of our Design and Development process
  • Assist in the transfer of CardioQuip products and prototypes to manufacturing
  • Ensure that our current and future processes are compliant and conform to 21 CFR 820 and ISO 13485 : 2016
  • Prepare and conduct design reviews
  • Become familiar with Regulatory and FDA submission paperwork in support of product development
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Applicant is pursuing a Bachelor's degree or graduate degree in relevant engineering field, OR applicant is within two years of graduating with a Bachelor's degree or graduate degree in a relevant engineering field
  • Minimum GPA Requirement : 3.25 / 4.0
  • Applicant has completed at least 2 semesters in relevant engineering courses
  • Semester interns must commit at least 20 hrs / week, summer interns must commit 40 hrs / week
  • Spring Interns : full and part-time R&D and Quality Engineering positions available from January to May. Apply between July 2nd and November 1st.

    Summer Interns : full-time R&D and Quality Engineering positions available from May to August. Apply between November 2nd and March 1st.

    Fall Interns : full and part-time R&D and Quality Engineering positions available from August to December. Apply between February 2nd and June 1st.
