Job Summary
This position reports to the Assistant Director of Library Academic Services. As a member of the Open Salt Lake Community College (SLCC) cross‑institutional team, this position provides support for open education activities. It supports faculty and staff by providing OER discovery and copyright review, offers Creative Commons licensing consultations and support for OER publishing platforms. It provides open access guidance at the College and also acts as a liaison to one of the schools at SLCC. The librarian will engage in the Library Liaison program by coordinating with faculty and academic administrators to help provide the resources needed for student and faculty success. The librarian will provide information literacy instruction, research assistance, and reference services for students, staff, faculty, and administrators.

Minimum Qualifications
Master’s degree in Library Science or equivalent from an ALA‑accredited institution or an international equivalent recognized by ALA.
