Aston Health is seeking an experienced Director of Admissions to oversee the admissions process, community outreach, and referral management—ensuring a seamless, welcoming experience for every resident and family.

What You’ll Do

Manage center customer flow (referrals) and the admissions process, including community sales, referral management, admission sign-ins, and post-admission follow-up using the Genesis Core Operating System (PCC).

Achieve census goals by collaborating with the interdisciplinary team and other Aston Health entities to coordinate customer flow into and through the center.

Lead the sales program to ensure strong customer, referrer, and payer satisfaction, market penetration, a positive public image, and maximization of QMix and Average Daily Census (ADC) goals.

Maintain accurate records of referral and conversion activities.

Assess inquiries and respond to referral sources per protocol, ensuring clear communication and a positive admission experience for customers and families.

Oversee pre-admission room readiness with the Housekeeping Supervisor / Director of Environmental Services.

Ensure compliance with referral processing and admission intake procedures.

Communicate upcoming admissions with appropriate staff to ensure preparedness and smooth transitions.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience in an admissions or marketing role within a healthcare environment.

Long-term care experience required.

Knowledge of Medicare, third-party billing, and medical terminology.

Ability to confidently discuss clinical evaluations with physicians and care team members.
