Overview

Asgard Resources is a growing company that owns and operates the Hazen frac sand mine and processing facility. The Hazen mine is located near the town of Hazen, ND. Asgard is a leading provider of frac sand in North Dakota and has been operating since 2019.

Asgard is seeking plant operators to maintain and operate a sand washing and sizing plant and a dryer. This job will also include operating heavy equipment at times. Successful applicants will be trained on the specific equipment utilized at the facility.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and adjust machines and conveyors to maintain flow and quality of sand
  • Perform emergency and routine maintenance on plant equipment
  • Assist with various construction projects
  • Perform assignments outlined by supervision
  • Work safely
  • Willingness to learn new skills

Qualification

  • Previous mechanical or operating experience is preferred but not required
  • Ability to read, write and speak English
  • Ability to perform simple math calculation
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. and climb ladders / stairs
  • Ability to workdays or nights, 12 hr. shifts and OT is required
  • Ability to work independently or with a partner
