Emergency Department Admitting Officer Full-time 7p-7a

Under general supervision, interviews patients to obtain necessary information, prepare admission / registration forms and performs other clerical / computer operational tasks related to the admission of inpatients and outpatients coming into our Medical Center.

Education : HS or GED

Experience :

6 months' experience. Emergency Department or Hospital experience preferred.

Skills :

• Knowledge in medical terminology.
• Skill in using computers.
• Skill in oral and written communication
• Skill in data analysis to gather and update statistics, logs, records and reports.
• Skill in customer service techniques.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize.

Patient Population :

Demonstrates competency in the delivery of care and applies the knowledge to meet age-specific needs if applicable.

Pay Range

$16.74 - $23.21

Final salary offer will be based on the candidate's qualifications, education, experience and alignment with our organizational needs.
