KPMG is currently seeking a Manager, Risk Management, Policy - Operations and Subsidiaries Policy to join our Risk Management organization.
Responsibilities :
- Provide support to Policy Office in the areas of Operations and Subsidiary policies, including but not limited to Firm Security Services, Strategic Sourcing and Procurement, Office of Government Affairs and Public Policy, Finance and Accounting, Third Party Risk Management, Brand Governance and subsidiaries of KPMG LLP, including KPMG Law, KPH, and others
- Work in partnership with the Senior Director in leading the management of Operations and Subsidiary policy projects in accordance with the Policy Governance Model, including development of or updates to policy and design of implementation, ensuring alignment to the firm's most important risks, regulatory and legal obligations
- Work on the development of policy and establishment of governance for new wholly owned subsidiaries across all policy areas
- Develop and maintain working relationships with the various Business Process Group and Business stakeholders in the areas of Operations and Subsidiary policies
- Review and refresh policy content in accordance with an established maintenance timeline
- Participate in various continuous improvement Policy Office projects and initiatives, as necessary, and other duties as assigned
Qualifications :
Minimum five years of recent experience, ideally in a professional services firm, working in a complex and diverse cross-cultural environment with impeccable judgement, the highest standards of integrity and the ability to proactively address the perspectives of othersBachelor's degree from an accredited college / university with work experience in professional services or policyWorking knowledge of operations policy topics, business processes and applicable laws, regulations and professional standards required, along with a knowledge of policy development methodologies and the process mindset required to identify, assess, and address challenges with respect to operationalizing policy requirementsAbility to build strong relationships, collaborate and negotiate with Operations colleagues and functional policy stakeholders, including business stakeholders, in the development and implementation of policy contentConfidence to engage with Operations and Business leadership while establishing oneself as a trusted advisor of the Policy Office; experience managing multiple projects concurrently with excellent organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills, strong written and verbal communication abilities, and the ability to have a broad perspective, while maintaining attention to detailAptitude to work independently as well as part of a team and the ability to maintain the resiliency needed to see complex projects to conclusion, despite setbacksMust be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
