This position is in Cargills protein and salt business where we provide wholesome high-quality food products to a wide range of customers from foodservice operators and grocery stores to manufacturers and exporters.

Job Purpose and Impact

The Sr. Sales Account Manager will drive sales growth by managing key customer accounts primarily within the cruise industry. Youll build strategic customer relationships and deliver tailored solutions that reflect the companys values and support long-term profitability. This role includes responsibilities in contract management bid processes inventory oversight and purchasing strategy while working closely with internal stakeholders to optimize operations. Success in this fast-paced market-driven environment requires excellent communication skills and a proactive collaborative mindset.

Key Accountabilities

• Develop and execute customer sales strategies that meet customer goals and align with company objectives.
• Coordinate customer order processing and manage overall order fill rates to ensure timely delivery service.
• Coordinate inventory management and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure product availability and service reliability.
• Monitor market trends customer behavior and competitive activity to support strategic planning and pricing decisions.
• Support sales leadership by managing contracts and risk mitigation in partnership with pricing and trade teams; resolve claims and disputes as needed.
• Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.
• Other duties as assigned
