Middle School All City Jazz Band DirectorObjective NBHS seeks a Middle School All City Band Director to teach and inspire our students. Through strong teamwork organizational skills and interpersonal skills this candidate will foster a positive environment for all participants. Responsibilities : Assist with leading the Middle School All City Jazz Band through the School YearConduct ongoing assessments of student achievementSupport the musical development of the ensemble with the other director(s)Implement all musical techniques needed by members of the brass woodwind and rhythm sectionsMaintain secure and setup equipment and materials for rehearsals and performancesEstablish a positive rapport with students and familiesParticipate in concerts through the school yearFlexible schedule including working holidaysSuch other responsibilities as may from time to time be assigned by the Principal Director of Fine Arts or CDAM - ArtsQualifications : Experience rehearsing jazz music for middle school studentsExperience selecting appropriate music for middle school studentsImprovisational techniquesKnowledge or appropriate techniques on wind / rhythm section instrumentsWorks collaboratively with staff and studentsTerms : Reports to : Director of Fine Arts CDAM - ArtsLocation : PRABDates : November 1 2025- May 30 2026Rate : $2000
