Summer Day Camp Lifeguard

KE Camps is the leading provider of summer camps for country clubs nationwide. We partner with over 230 private clubs all over the country to implement traditional-style day camps for elementary-aged children. Our Staff are the backbone of our programs and therefore, we pride ourselves on giving them an incredible amount of support. We are actively seeking a Lifeguard to help oversee our swimming activities.

Camp Lifeguard Qualities

• Ability to guard the health and well-being of campers while in or around the pool at all times
• Responsible, Dependable, Level-Headed, Flexible, and Calm in all situations
• Current certification in lifeguard training or equivalent
• Current certification in first aid and CPR (advanced certification may be required based on camp location and site of delivery of aquatic program)
• Prior experience working with children
• Prior experience in Lifeguarding and / or Swim related instruction, preferred

Camp Lifeguard Responsibilities

All applicants must have up to date Lifeguard Certifications prior to starting work.

Our camp is located at Old Ranch Country Club in Seal Beach, CA. Camp will run Monday-Friday from June 15 through July 31 - staff members must be available to work the full camp season. This lifeguard position has a working schedule of 10 - 15 hours per week or can be paired with a more consistent Camp Counselor role.
