job_description.job_card.job_descriptionAssist avionics modification teams with power-on checks, configuration, check out, and aircraft delivery to end customer Helps maintain company owned Supplemental Type Certificate(s) and approved designs Interfaces with and maintains good working relationships with suppliers and integration teams Performs other duties as assigned Bachelor's Degree (BSEE or BSEET) in Electrical Engineering (preferred) 3+ years of Aviation Electrical / Systems integration experience Familiar with fabrication and / or installation of basic avionics and electrical systems in aircraft Familiar with standard aircraft wiring practices and standard avionics shop practices General knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements (14 CFR Part 21, 23, 25, 145) Ability to work in and around the aircraft and tight spaces (avionics bays, etc) Travel on occasion Ability to work independently with little supervision Advanced skill in Microsoft Office Suite Experienced in electrical design CAD package(s) FAA DER in Electrical Systems Exposure to aircraft modifications (AMT, repairman, A&P, etc), FAA and aircraft OEM standard practices, and FAA certification NCATT certification

Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities :
- Responsible for research, analysis, planning, integration and testing of corporate aviation aircraft avionics, communication, entertainment, and electrically controlled systems
- Generates and assembles aircraft electrical and avionics drawings and documents to support installation of systems on aircraft
- Assists with planning and routing of wiring harness maps and / or mock-ups
- May assist in estimating, quoting and planning in support of aircraft modifications
- Acts as a liaison between engineering and the avionics integration / installation teams
- Prior knowledge of installations, modifications and the fabrication of wiring and electrical components, fixtures, and associated equipment in accordance with blueprints, worksheets, engineering drawings is required
