Job Title : Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN)

Location : Hermitage, TN 37076 (Greater Nashville Area)

Healthcare Setting : Women’s / NICU Unit (24 LDRP beds, 10 NICU beds)

Nursing Shift : 12-hour night shifts (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM)

Hours per Week : 36

Assignment Duration : 13-week travel contract (Start : 12 / 1 / 2025 – End : 3 / 2 / 2026)

Employment Type : Travel Nursing Contract

On-Site Position

Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1470-$1570

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active RN license in Tennessee or compact state (required for nursing jobs in Tennessee)

Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience

Current certifications : BLS, ACLS, NRP, and Intermediate Fetal Monitoring

Proficiency in fetal monitoring and electronic documentation systems (CPN preferred)

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Ability to work 12-hour night shifts

Labor & Delivery Nurse Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive nursing care to laboring mothers, postpartum patients, and newborns

Monitor fetal and maternal well-being using advanced fetal monitoring equipment

Assist with labor, delivery (including C-sections), and immediate newborn care

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team including RNs, unit coordinators, patient care techs, and lactation consultants

Document patient care accurately using the CPN system

Maintain a safe, supportive, and family-centered clinical environment
