IT Tech I

ATS – AL, Inc is hiring.  We offer a broad range of IT services; however, this is not your “typical” IT Tech position. Your day can range from reinstalling a PC Operating System to drilling holes and running CAT6 and fiber through entire buildings to installing racks, nodes, terminating patch panels and configuring VLANs. Required skills :

• 2+ years of experience with PCs, printers, laptops and some server experience.
• Excellent communication skills both verbally and written.
• Advanced knowledge of Windows 10 operating systems.
• Working knowledge and troubleshooting of standard desktop applications.
• Knowledge of Cat 5e or higher cabling and troubleshooting.
• Minimum knowledge of switch / router management, with aptitude to expand knowledge.
• Strong interpersonal / team skills and the ability to impart information to colleagues with a varied range of computer knowledge.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive customer and internal information.
• Ability and desire to learn new skills quickly.
