We are seeking a Pre / Post Sales Engineer to serve as a technical liaison for our sales team. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate who wants to be part of an established organization that is growing rapidly. In this role, you will work directly with the CTO and the sales team.

  • Location Requirements :
  • Must be able to work onsite in Shelton, CT
  • Ability to travel to client sites as needed
  • Key Responsibilities :
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, acting as a trusted advisor responsible for the end-to-end technical relationship.
  • Develop a deep understanding of customers' technical environments, business objectives, and any challenges or pain points they may face.
  • Collaborate closely with your sales counterpart to address customers' business and technical needs.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and the services they offer.
  • Participate in technical decision-making for clients.
  • Take full technical ownership of your accounts by providing thought leadership and ensuring customers' best interests are prioritized.
  • Possess a deep understanding of the products, using this knowledge to explain the latest features, benefits, and competitive positioning, while also responding to the competition and gathering market insights.
  • Perform special projects related to the Solutions Engineering function as assigned by management.
  • Serve as a point of contact for help desk escalations from Level 1 and Level 2 analysts.
  • Continuously invest in personal development to enhance technical and professional skills that contribute to customer success, while actively participating in the Solutions Engineering community and industry events.
  • Qualifications :
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in a Help Desk role
  • Previous experience with Managed Service Providers (MSPs)
  • CompTIA A+ / Network+ certification or equivalent experience
  • MCSA or equivalent certification
  • Comprehensive technical understanding of :
  • Public and private DNS functionality
  • Mail flow diagnostics
  • Office 365 migrations and maintenance
  • Active Directory
  • Meraki and Cisco support and configuration
  • VPN support and configuration
  • File server support and configuration
  • Remote Desktop Services (RDS) environment support
