Certified Medication Aide (Nights 10p-6a)

NIGHTS - 10P-6A

Our Certified Medication Aides are responsible for delivering medication services to residents and documenting resident services accordingly. In addition, our Medication Aides are required to : maintain appropriate levels of confidentiality with residents and family information; assist and / or administer medications as prescribed by physician to residents; assist / manage all medication refills; acts as a liaison between caregivers and nursing staff regarding medication; delivers services and monitors resident needs according to service plan; and ensures high quality resident care is consistently being delivered.

Job Requirements :

• CNA or equivalent certification
• First Aid and CPR certified
• Completion of course work / training in medications
• Six months’ experience in related position
• Complies with licensing requirements
• Able to occasionally lift and / or move up to 50 pounds
• Possesses a high degree of interpersonal relations skills
• Capable of relating to a variety of people and personalities
• Initiative, good-judgment and leadership skills required
• Excellent oral and written communications skills
