    The Company is seeking an Assistant General Counsel with a focus on real estate and environmental health and safety. This strategic legal role is pivotal in shaping the legal frameworks of the company, particularly in the areas of complex real estate transactions, property management, and global health and safety regulatory compliance. The successful candidate will be the principal in-house attorney for these matters, partnering with various teams to drive strategic growth initiatives and manage legal risks in a dynamic sector. The role requires a professional with over 6 years' of experience in real estate and EHS law, including a strong background in negotiating and managing commercial real estate transactions, and a deep understanding of global environmental statutes and regulations. Applicants for the Assistant General Counsel position at the company should have a minimum of 6 years' of experience in real estate and EHS law, with a preference for those who have significant in-house counsel experience or have advised industrial / manufacturing clients at a recognized law firm. The role demands expertise in global environmental statutes and regulations, with a specific preference for candidates with CAL OSHA experience. The ideal candidate will be adept at negotiating and managing commercial real estate transactions and will be prepared to take on the challenge of legal compliance in a global context.
