RESPONSIBILITIES : (Essential) –

• Operate and setup thermoforming machines efficiently in the manufacturing of plastic products.
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently such as bandsaws, handheld pneumatic drills and routers, grinders, drill presses, drill sleds, chop saws, etc.
• Adhere to company Quality Management System (Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions, etc.)  that are applicable to perform daily operating tasks in a safe and efficient manner.
• Able to perform various tasks / operations on products that are used in the utility, aviation, and transportation industries.
• Cross-training on various thermoforming machines, equipment, and operations.
• Provide feedback to supervision / management of any quality, safety, or training concerns.
• Responsible for accurately clocking in and out of tasks in our ERP System to track our labor costs for the production of products.
• Responsible for clocking in and out accurately for the entirety of the shift.
• Able to accurately disposition products and materials in our ERP System.
• High attention to detail and ability to understand written and verbal instructions. These instructions are in the form of hands-on training, Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions, Part Pictures, etc., and are pertinent to the position.
• Perform daily preventative maintenance on machines and equipment.
• Trouble shoot forming issues by making various adjustments to timers / settings on the machine in a timely manner to minimize quality issues.
• Able to communicate effectively with fellow team members and supervision to ensure necessary job duties and requirements are fulfilled.
• Able to independently perform mathematical equations to calculate product produced.
• Participate in company activities that correlate with our core values.
• Participate in the company’s safety program.
• Participate in the company’s 5S program and continuous improvement that reflect our core values.
• Assist supervision by mentoring new Machine Operators in safety, quality, and efficiency in our processes.
• Other job duties as assigned by supervision.
