About the Role

The Special Education Teacher / Coordinator is a dual-purpose role that combines classroom teaching with program coordination. Working under the guidance of the SPED Director and with the support of the SPED Support Specialist , you will ensure that Pinnacle’s Special Education program effectively serves students while staying compliant with state and federal regulations.

This role emphasizes :

• Direct instruction for students requiring specially designed instruction (SDI).
• Coordination of IEPs and services in collaboration with teachers, parents, and external agencies.
• Program-level support , ensuring smooth communication between the SPED Director, staff, families, and the Arizona Department of Education.
