Position :  Accounts Payable Coordinator (Part-Time)

Location :   300 North Thomas Street Athens, GA 30601

The Classic Center is looking for a Part-Time Accounts Payable Coordinator to help keep our financial operations running smoothly. If you love spreadsheets, systems, and ensuring things get done right the first time—this is your moment.

What You’ll Do :

You’ll play a key role in managing our purchasing and payment processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and strong vendor relationships. Responsibilities include :

  • Handling invoices, purchase orders, and vendor payments with accuracy and efficiency
  • Processing weekly check runs and ACH payments
  • Assisting with credit card reconciliation and audit preparation
  • Helping integrate systems to improve our workflow
  • Communicating professionally with vendors and colleagues
  • Upholding the Classic Center’s values every step of the way

What You Bring to the Table :

  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
  • Experience with NetSuite (a plus!)
  • Comfort with learning new systems and solving problems
  • A commitment to teamwork, responsibility, and professionalism
  • A college degree is great—but not required if you bring equivalent experience and motivation
  • The candidate who is selected for this position will have to successfully pass a drug screening and a criminal background check.
