CompuOne Corporation is a full-service managed IT services provider headquartered in San Diego seeking a Senior Network Administrator to join our team. This is your opportunity to play a vital role in designing, managing, and securing advanced network environments across multiple client sites.
What Youll Do :
Lead the design, implementation, and support of scalable network infrastructure (switches, routers, firewalls, wireless, etc.)Assisting in the analysis and support of IT problems, ensuring efficient resolution.Monitor and optimize network performance, availability, and security using industry best practicesTroubleshoot and resolve complex network issues , escalating and coordinating with vendors as neededConfigure and maintain VLANs, STP, LACP, QoS , and security protocolsAdminister and maintain systems including Cisco, VMWare, Azure, SQL Server, Sharepoint, Windows Server environments, Active Directory, and Office 365.Manage virtualization platforms including VMware, Hyper-V, and AzureOversee system audits, documentation , and disaster recovery planningStay ahead of emerging technologies and recommend improvementsTravel to client sites locally as needed (mileage reimbursement provided)What You Bring to the Table :
5+ years of experience in network administration and IT infrastructure supportProven expertise in switching, routing , and firewall managementAdvanced knowledge of network security practices and access controlsStrong command of Microsoft environments , including Office 365 and Active DirectoryExperience managing virtual environments (VMware, Hyper-V, ESXi, Azure)Proficiency with network monitoring and diagnostic toolsStrong communication, leadership, and project management skillsAbility to work independently, prioritize multiple projects, and meet deadlinesPreferred Qualifications :
Bachelors degree in IT, Networking, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)Industry certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, JNCIP, CompTIA Network+ , or Microsoft CertifiedExperience working in a MSP (Managed Services Provider) environment is a plusWhy Join CompuOne?
