VIP Staffing is immediately hiring a Machine Operator for a local leading organization in Albuquerque.

This is a Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire position Monday - Friday, 6am- 2 : 30 pm.

Pay for this position is $18-$22 DOE.

As a Machine Operator, you will :

  • Operate Steel cutting and forming machines as well as hand tools such as grinders and drills.
  • Operate metal plate shearing equipment.
  • Operate Press brake and plate roller.
  • Perform some stick welding to splice plates together for rolling and other application.

Machine Operator candidates must meet the following requirements for consideration :

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • One year of related experience as a machine operator and / or training.
  • Ability to read a tape measure and engineering drawings.
  • Ability to differentiate jobs requiring multiple parts and be able to start and complete job.
  • Ability to read / write in English.
  • Able to operate forklift, overhead cranes, and hand tools.
  • Able to perform repetitive work and meet quality standards.
  • Able to accomplish tasks within a set budget.
  • Able to perform physical tasks such as standing, bending, twisting, climbing, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
