Pay : Up to $28 / hour

Position Overview

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Registered Behavior Technician for an exciting job in Hamilton VA.

Schedule & Contract Details

Shift : Day Shift

Hours per Day : 7.5

Contract Length : 27 Weeks

Guaranteed Hours : 0

Meal Break : 30 minutes

Responsibilities

Provide 1 : 1 ABA-based behavioral support to a student in an intensive autism program.

Implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs).

Support communication social and academic skill-building.

Collect and document daily behavior and skill acquisition data.

Assist with classroom routines transitions and safety strategies.

Maintain a consistent structured and supportive learning environment.

Collaborate with teachers staff and the supervising BCBA.

Required Certifications & Qualifications

Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification (BACB) mandatory

High School Diploma or equivalent

CPR & First Aid Certification (preferred)

Crisis intervention training (CPI Mandt Handle With Care) (preferred)

Experience working with autism ABA therapy or special education (preferred)

Preferred Skills

Experience in school-based ABA settings

Strong documentation and data collection skills

Effective communication and teamwork abilities

Patience consistency and professionalism

Ability to follow structured behavioral interventions
