Surety Client Manager - Sales Development Program

In this role, you'll be instrumental in supporting our sales team while ensuring client satisfaction in the specialized world of surety bonds. Beyond just managing accounts, you'll develop meaningful professional connections with clients and carriers, deliver outstanding service, and contribute directly to our clients' success. Take the lead on managing assigned books of business, guiding internal resources, and delegating tasks effectively to provide exceptional surety service.
Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding surety bonds, coverages, and billing inquiries.
Process new and renewal bonds in our Agency Management System, verifying requested coverages and reviewing bonds for accuracy.
Assist in preparing applications, proposals, and related information for new and renewal business, meeting deadlines for appointments and bond expirations.
Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with clients and carriers alike, fostering trust and collaboration.
Grow your expertise in surety bonds, coverage options, and industry trends through continuous learning and development opportunities.
High school diploma or equivalent required; minimum of two years surety experience at either an agency or company, or education in commercial insurance preferred.
Valid driver's license as defined by M3's Motor Vehicle Safety policy.
Demonstrated proficiency in professional verbal and written communication, with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely with clients, carriers, and team members.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload, manage multiple tasks efficiently, and adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Team player mentality, with the ability to build effective relationships with clients, carriers, and colleagues while maintaining a positive attitude.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail, particularly when reviewing bonds, contracts, and other documents for accuracy.
Proficiency in technical skills, including Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and agency management systems (e.g., EPIC).
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with the broader team.
Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the specialized field of surety bonds.
