Continuous Learning and Data Coach
Position Description
This position provides training for their team to support educational and family development services, deepen reflective practice and build and apply data utilization expertise. Partners with teams across the organization to implement the organization's programs, projects and initiatives with integrity and accountability. The Continuous Learning and Data Coach is a highly effective leader who coaches a teaching team to develop their ability to effectively deliver instruction and increase successful student and family outcomes.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
Student Development Management
- Coaches teaching team to develop their knowledge, skills, and abilities to increase successful student and family outcomes.
- Oversees the development and implementation of programs and strategies through curriculum, assessment, and data utilization ;
- Coaches internal and external team s to utilize appropriate curriculum using a research-based coaching model that emphasizes the analysis and application of child and program quality data to improve the delivery of instruction and other services to achieve targeted child, family and program outcomes
- Ensures that ethnic and cultural backgrounds are appropriately recognized and integrated into the curriculum, classroom socializations, programs, and services; provides opportunities for cultural competency development activities
- Ensures Educare Learning Network core features are implemented and maintained
- Utilizes an interdisciplinary approach to support stakeholders in improving family outcomes as they coach parents to use developmentally appropriate educational , parenting, and problem-solving strategies, and guide families toward self-sufficiency
- Monitors the delivery of systematic and integrated comprehensive program services to ensure students are school ready as defined in the school readiness goals and developmental framework
- Influences and supports parents' involvements as the primary teacher of their students
Program & Curriculum Compliance
Ensures program operations and compliance with all applicable quality standards which may include HIPPY USA Model Standards, Head Start and Early Head Start Performance Standards, ITERs NAEYC Standards, Educare Core Competencies, Qualistar Rating, CCAP, as well as state and local regulationsContributes to year -long training development plan and provides staff professional learning (when relevant) in their area(s) of expertise.Ensures EHS and HS grant requirements, reports and evaluations are met and completed within timeframe outlined in the grantsCultivate a departmental (remove departmental) culture of data usage for continuous learning to improve performance and innovation and strategically collaborate with organizational workgroups focused on continuous quality improvement to enact process and outcome improvement projectsSupports the planning process of lead teachers as they prepare for collaboration among their teams and professional learning experiences;Identifies 2-3 model classrooms or learning labs for teachers to observe effective instructional practiceReviews monthly monitoring and tracking reports to ensure quality benchmarks are met including lesson plans, assessments, screenings, home-visits, parent-teacher conferences, child / family reviews, Family Partnership Agreements (FPAs), attendance, performance standard requirements and the implementation of quality services for students and familiesEnsures team is using data driven dialogue and decision making to inform their practice both internally and with familiesMonitors compliance of regulations and works with internal stakeholders to implement changes to compliance standardsTracks and monitors all program funding sources per contract or grant requirementsReviews current program materials including forms, tools, documentation, etc. and compares against compliance and regulationsMaintains working knowledge of crisis and intervention offerings, health requirements and partnershipsDepartment Team Collaboration
Develops and provides ongoing quality improvement opportunities for their team and cultivates a coaching relationship that advances best practice skills and competenciesBuilds and maintains positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels including employees, students, families, and visitorsCollaborates with internal stakeholders to provide opportunities for professional growth and classroom training; disseminates pertinent training program information and materials to their teamDiagnose staff needs using assessment data and observations to implement a continuous learning cycleEngages their team in continuous improvement / reflective inquiry through a formal coaching cycle, and equips staff to pursue professional development and individual education goals as delineated on their professional development plansA ttends training sessions, events, and meetings to meet the needs of their position and departmentQualifications
Education- Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education, or related field, required
Certifications or Licenses-
Department of Human Services Child Care Center DirectorPediatric CPR & First Aid CertificationValid Driver's LicenseCLASS Certifications Preferred- Infant, Toddler, PreKExperience- 3 years in Social work administration or coaching experience in an early childhood setting required

Salary Range- $63,000- $68,000 annually
