Sr. Systems Administrator

Overview : The Senior Systems Administrator will manage and secure the organizations Microsoft Windows infrastructure ensuring high availability compliance and operational excellence. This role requires expertise in Windows OS Intune Active Directory and enterprise security standards. The position includes on-call responsibilities and collaboration across IT and business units.

Responsibilities :

• Administer and maintain Windows Server environments Active Directory Azure Entra ID and Group Policy.
• Familiar with container platforms Docker andor Kubernetes.
• Manage Intune for device compliance application deployment and endpoint security.
• Implement and monitor security baselines using Microsoft Security Compliance Toolkit.
• Apply patches updates and vulnerability remediation across systems.
• Monitor system performance uptime and resource utilization.
• Develop and maintain Disaster Recovery plans and participate in regular testing.
• Develop and maintain documentation for systems processes and policies.
• Provide Tier 2 / 3 support for escalated issues.
• Handle backup and recovery procedures for critical systems.
• Work with cross-functional teams on deployments and upgrades.
• Mentor junior IT staff and enforce best practices.

On-Call Expectations

This position requires participation in an on-call rotation to provide after-hours support for critical systems and respond to incidents promptly. Candidates must be able to troubleshoot and resolve issues under pressure and ensure minimal downtime.
