Overview :
We are seeking a detail-oriented Technical Writer with strong analytical and documentation skills to join our team for a 2 -3 month assignment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys working hands-on within warehouse operations. The Technical Writer will be responsible for observing, analyzing, and documenting current operational workflows, identifying inefficiencies or gaps (“loop holes”), and developing clear, standardized process documentation to support continuous improvement and compliance.
Key Responsibilities :
Conduct onsite observations of daily warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and production support.
Review existing standard operating procedures (SOPs) and process documentation.
Identify process gaps, redundancies, or compliance risks within current workflows.
Collaborate with warehouse leadership and team members to understand challenges and gather insights.
Draft, revise, and standardize SOPs, work instructions, and process maps.
Recommend improvements to enhance efficiency, safety, and accuracy in warehouse operations.
Present findings and improvement recommendations to management in a clear and actionable format.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Technical Writing, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
2+ years of experience in technical writing, process documentation, or operational analysis.
Experience working in warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics environments strongly preferred.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess workflows and identify improvement opportunities.
Excellent written communication and documentation skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with Visio, Lucidchart, or process mapping tools a plus.
Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Pay Details : $27.00 to $31.00 per hour
