Job overview and responsibilities
Shop Overhaul Engineering is responsible for a wide variety of projects and support work in UA component and rework / remanufacturing shops including component repairs, robotic programming, avionics, composites, structures, reverse engineering, data analysis and process / policy management. This requires leading a team with extensive multi‑functional engineering expertise in material processing, metallurgy, destructive testing of materials, microstructural analysis, chemical testing, product management and component repair processes. Responsible for the ongoing fine tuning of component and equipment Engineering procedures in GMMs, Operation Guides, Standard Operating Procedures, and training information. Responsible for organizing major shop standardization and optimization initiatives for internal component shops throughout the UA system.

The base pay range for this role is $137,275.00 to $187,000.00.
The base salary range / hourly rate listed is dependent on job‑related factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and / or long‑term incentive compensation awards.
