Floor Care Tech

Summary of Position

This full-time role is responsible for stripping, waxing, and refinishing hard floors, as well as carpet cleaning to maintain facility standards. The position operates on a  Monday through Friday schedule from 6 : 00 PM to 2 : 30 AM. A valid driver’s license is required for all candidates.

Role and Responsibilities

• Obtain supplies and stock cart with cleaning supplies from storage room.
• Clean restroom toilets, sinks, floors, urinals, mirrors, and fixtures, using toilet brush, sponge, disinfectant, and cleaning solutions.
• Clean floors daily and vacuum as needed, shampoo, strip, wax, clean doors, walls, and windows and all horizontal surfaces, and buff, and empty trash by removal to designated areas, as specified in contract.
• Strip, wax, and refinish hard floors and carpet cleaning.
• Clean 2,500 square feet within 1 hour.
• Operate a variety of buffing machines.
• Mix chemical solutions in a safe and effective manner.
• Other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position does not have supervisory responsibilities
