Description :

An SLP in Home Health evaluates and treats patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders in their home environment. They develop personalized therapy plans to improve communication skills and safe swallowing. The role includes conducting assessments, documenting progress, and educating patients and caregivers on therapy techniques. They collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support overall patient rehabilitation and functional independence.

EDUCATION :

Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma. Master's in speech pathology from an educational institution accredited by the Education and Training Board of American Speech Language Hearing Association

Possesses the ability to organize, use time efficiently, and communicate well

Demonstrates clinical assessment skills in area of expertise

Demonstrates effective written and verbal communication skills
