Surgical Attendant

Job Title

Indirectly provides patient care to perioperative patients along the continuum of the age spectrum following established practices and standards. Supports the mission statement, policies and procedures of the Baptist Health System. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education : MINIMUM EDUCATION : High School Graduate or equivalent

Experience : PREFERRED EXPERIENCE : Hospital experience as a surgical attendant or nursing assistant.

Certifications : REQUIRED COURSES / COMPLETIONS (e.g., CPR) : Must have active healthcare provider Basic Life Support on hire (ARC or AHA); however, must have AHA Healthcare Provider BLS within 60 days of hire.
