Covington Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation is a 65 - bed skilled nursing facility located in the heart of East Palestine, Ohio who is seeking a Director of Nursing (DON) to join our team and provide quality care to our residents in a nursing home setting. The successful candidate will have experience working with geriatrics and long-term care, as well as a passion for providing compassionate and attentive care.

Responsibilities of Director of Nursing (DON)

Lead, mentor, and support our nursing staff to deliver outstanding resident-centered care

Ensure compliance with all state and federal guidelines and nursing best practices

Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to promote high standards of care

Drive clinical outcomes, staff education, and a positive team culture

Manage schedules, staffing, and departmental operations

Requirements of a Director of Nursing (DON)

Licensed RN in the state of Ohio (required)

Proven experience in a nursing leadership role, preferably in long-term or skilled care

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

A bility to lead with empathy, integrity, and excellence

A passion for innovation, quality improvement, and resident advocacy
