Senior Specialist, Education
The Senior Specialist, Education is responsible for ensuring the operational excellence and tactical execution of CHIME's Education and Credentialing programs. Key responsibilities include auditing automated application and renewal workflows, maintaining accurate credentialing records, and coordinating with external consultants to uphold compliance with established credentialing standards.
In addition, this position plays a critical role in supporting CHIME University's live virtual and OnDemand programming. This includes ensuring high-quality delivery, applying principles of adult learning theory, and fostering strong engagement among both learners and faculty.
Duties and responsibilities :
Education Program Delivery :
- Support the delivery of CHIME University's virtual and OnDemand programs, ensuring effective faculty communication, learner engagement, and platform functionality.
- Assist with logistics and quality assurance for digital course delivery, maintaining a consistent and high-quality learning experience.
- Apply adult learning principles and innovative instructional strategies to enhance program effectiveness and learner outcomes.
Credentialing Operations :
Audit and monitor automated application and renewal workflows to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with credentialing standards.Maintain comprehensive records for candidates and credentialed individuals, including documentation and reporting.Provide operational support for credentialing governance and standardization efforts.Collaborate with vendors, reviewers, oversight groups, and the VP of Education to support credentialing product maintenance and enhancements.Documentation & Reporting :
Conduct evaluations of online programs and maintain reporting on Key Process Improvement (KPI) metrics.Document workflows and operational procedures to promote transparency and ensure continuity.Provide regular reports and updates to inform decision-making, support compliance, and facilitate oversight governance.Other :
Perform additional duties as assigned to support CHIME's mission in education and credentialing.Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.5+ years of experience in credentialing, education, or program administration (association or healthcare environment preferred).Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and credentialing databases.Knowledge of various online curricula models and learning platforms.Strong attention to detail and ability to follow governance standards.Demonstrates an accessible, responsive style with a customer service orientation.Exceptional communication skills with proficiency in developing written communications.Proficiency with web-based tools and technology, and a vision for how to use them effectively in the professional education arena.Proven ability to manage multiple projects at once with successfully achieving desired results.Discipline to successfully work without close supervision. Must be comfortable with a remote working relationship with other team members.Excellent project management and problem resolution skills with attention to details.Strong organizational and project management skills, creativity, critical and strategic thinking.Ability to remain calm under pressure and maintain a positive attitude.This is a remote based position, but some travel will be required (
