Specialist Paralegal (Oil and Gas) hybrid

Our client, an Am Law 50 firm , is seeking a Specialist Paralegal (Oil & Gas) to join its Global Finance and Energy Transactions practice. This is an excellent opportunity to work on complex, high-value finance and corporate transactions across the upstream, midstream, and downstream energy sectors.

About the Role

The Specialist Paralegal will provide advanced support to attorneys on a wide range of oil and gas transactional matters . The ideal candidate will have a strong command of industry terminology, documentation, and filing procedures, along with the ability to manage due diligence, document organization, and closings independently.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft and review contracts, liens, conveyances, and related oil and gas documentation under attorney supervision
• Prepare and file documents with county recording offices and regulatory agencies
• Manage the full deal lifecycle, including checklists, due diligence, signature pages, and closing binders
• Review and file UCC financing statements ; order and analyze UCC lien searches and corporate documents
• Maintain accurate records of oil and gas transactions and coordinate with internal teams and vendors
• Provide training and guidance to junior team members as needed
