Interventional Radiology Tech : Bridgeport, CT.

Seeking an energetic Interventional Radiology Tech to come joint our team today. We have exciting, Great Paying opportunities across the U.S.! Both Local and Travel candidates are welcome to apply. Contract position to start ASAP -13 weeks with option to extend.

Shift : either 8 or 10 hour dayshift

Job Duties

This individual is responsible for helping perform a variety of complex specialized tasks operating fluoroscopy, computed tomography, laser, and ultrasonography equipment during vascular and neuroradiology angiographic and interventional procedures. This individual is responsible for helping develop and implement systems to assure the smooth and efficient flow of patients for procedures in the Interventional labs. Duties for this position include but are not limited to : circulating and scrubbing roles during procedures, patient teaching, assisting with patient care within scope of practice, inventory management and schedule coordination

Education

Completion of a AMA Approved School of Radiologic Technology

Experience & Skills Required

One to two years of experience in a hospital setting

One year neuro / neuro IR preferred

Certifications

ARRT (R)

CT license

BLS (AHA)

Proof of right to work in the United States

Languages

English
