POSITION : Crossing Guard

REPORTS TO : BUILDING PRINCIPAL

Crossing Guards are part-time employees of the Worcester Public Schools and are paid on a per Diem basis.

Must work 1 hour in the morning and 1 hour in the afternoon

Crossing Guards are responsible for the safety of children using the crosswalks or walking lines, but have no police power or authority.

Our Focus Statement The entire Canterbury Street School will make a coordinated effort to help students develop and apply strategies and skills needed to comprehend text that is read, heard, and viewed. This will be accomplished through the use of a small set of common teaching strategies in reading comprehension. We will measure the results by MAP, MCAS, GRADE and DIBELS testing.
