THE ORGANIZATION :

Net Community Care is a division of Northeast Treatment Services (NET), a non-profit organization serving the Philadelphia region. As a designated Community Umbrella Agency (CUA) for the Department of Human Services, Net Community Care operates CUA1 and CUA7, providing comprehensive child welfare services focused on safety, permanency, and family well-being. Grounded in trauma-informed care and cultural humility, Net Community Care works to stabilize families, support youth development, and ensure children can grow in safe, nurturing, and permanent homes. The organization is committed to strengthening communities through collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.

SUMMARY :

Responsible for bridging the communication regarding placement between the DHS-CRU staff and the CUA Case Management Staff. Serves as the point of contact between DHS-CRU, CUA Case Management Teams, CUA Data Management Specialists and Provider agencies.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :

• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Strong professional communication and organizational skills, detail oriented.
• Knowledge of social work values and / or child welfare services
• Experience in Foster Care and / or Child Welfare preferred
• Must have computer experience, including (but not limited to) Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access) Outlook and database software.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE IN THIS ROLE :

Success as a CUA Intake Coordinator is demonstrated through the accurate and timely processing of new case assignments, effective communication with stakeholders, and strong attention to detail in documentation and compliance. The Intake Coordinator plays a key role in supporting a seamless

transition from DHS to CUA services and in ensuring proper financial documentation for caregiver support. Key indicators of success include :
