About the Role

Vitae Health Systems is assisting our sister company in identifying a skilled Nurse Practitioner with gastroenterology experience to join a longstanding practice in Stuart, Florida. This practice has been a trusted resource for digestive health care in the community for more than 20 years and is now seeking an NP who is ready to step into a leadership role.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who values independence, patient relationships, and the ability to shape a practice while being supported by experienced clinical and administrative staff.

The position can start full-time or part-time with the option to expand into full-time .

Please note : Scoping procedures are handled through a local partner, so this role focuses on consultative care, continuity management, and patient education.

Support staff, private exam rooms, and a functional EMR system (Epic experience a plus)

Administrative support for billing, scheduling, and compliance

Key Responsibilities

Provide assessments, treatment plans, and ongoing care for gastroenterology patients

Conduct follow-ups, medication management, and order / interpret diagnostics

Educate patients and families on conditions, treatment options, and preventive care

Collaborate with the physician team to ensure comprehensive care

Document patient care accurately and efficiently in the EMR

Qualifications

Current board certification as a Nurse Practitioner (FNP or AGNP)

Minimum 1 year of gastroenterology experience

Active Florida license (or eligibility)

Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and ability to work autonomously

Interest in long-term practice development and leadership opportunities

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range : $100,000 – $125,591 per year
