QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering15+ years of U.S.-based engineering and managerial experienceSolid record of accomplishment in managing and executing large, multi-faceted engineering projectsStrong mechanical design engineering experience in the commercial sectorKnowledge of local, state, and national codesDeep knowledge of mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systemsProficiency in energy modeling tools (eQUEST, Trane Trace, ENERGY STAR, Carrier HAP)Eligible to work in the US without need for sponsorshipAbility to effectively manage time and be comfortable with frequent deadlines and transitionsAbility to effectively work with others in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate complex ideasStrong technical writing skills and technical documentation skills with the ability to prepare presentations and reportsFluent in EnglishProblem-solving mindset with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyAbility to manage and direct the workflow of othersStrong financial management skills and business acumenAbility to work collaboratively with othersWilling to participate in continuing education by completing professional development classes and attending seminarsPreferred Qualifications :

WHAT TO EXPECT AS A LEAD MECHANICAL ENGINEER
This is a full-time position that operates Monday through Friday from 9 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM. This position must be able to work out of the Camden County office at least three days a week.
As the Lead Mechanical Engineer, you will oversee the design and execution of mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems for various projects. You'll collaborate with clients and engineers to ensure compliance with codes and mentor junior staff. Additionally, you'll conduct load calculations, manage QA / QC processes, and occasionally act as the Engineer of Record, driving project success and enhancing team capabilities.
