As a Career Navigator you will be responsible for :
Coordinated Career Pathways (CCP) Program Development
Collaborate with Employment Services and Leadership teams to create and implement all relevant policies standard operating procedures and program evaluation methods for CCP.Collaborate with Employment Services and Leadership teams to create all resources needed for service delivery including Person-Centered Career Plan (PCCP) and other service templates community connection database etc.Support with the vendorization for Customized Employment through the Department of Rehabilitation (DOR).Collaborate with the Employment Services and Leadership teams to complete the necessary requirements for BuildAbility to become a certified ACRE (Association of Community Rehabilitation Educators) training provider in customized employment.Ensure accurate data collection and timely completion of quarterly and annual progress reports.Represent BuildAbility in external meetings and collaborations related to career pathways and employment supports.Program Delivery
Pilot the CCP program with phased enrollment culminating in at least five fully enrolled participants by the end of the fiscal year (June 2026)Develop and maintain Person-Centered Career Plans (PCCPs) with each participant integrating goals into the IPP where appropriate.Provide 1 : 1 assistance with career exploration education benefits planning and resource navigation.Maintain ongoing communication with participants families and regional centers ensuring that services remain aligned with the participants goals.Monitor progress and review PCCPs monthly; modify plans as needed in collaboration with the team.Support participants through transitions including into post-secondary education internships or employment programs.Attend annual progress meetings upon request and assist in coordinating interpretation and plain-language materials.Schedule :

Bachelors and at least 3 years of experience in the field of developmental disabilities; OR Associates degree and at least 5 years of experience in the field of developmental disabilities.Completion of training in Person-Centered Thinking / Planning (required or attained within the first 90 days of employment).ACRE certification with an emphasis in Customized Employment or APSE CESP credential (required or attained within the first 90 days of employment).Strong written and interpersonal communication skills.Strong technology skills with confidence using Microsoft Office Suite electronic verification systems Learning Management Systems and video editing software.Valid Drivers License and proof of automobile insurance.Clear criminal background check.BuildAbility is an equal opportunity employer.
