At SLR, we are seeking a Senior Engineer or Scientist to join our busy Mesa, Arizona operations. This position will focus on field support for permitting and compliance, such as air quality, waste management, and water quality, including APP, AZPDES, SWPPP, and SPCC. We deliver environmental and sustainability services to our clients through the integration of over 30 advisory, technical environmental, and engineering disciplines to help clients address some of their most complex challenges around sustainability. As our new senior Engineer or Scientist, you will play an important role on a team whose work is essential to achieving this goal.

• The salary range for this position is $100,000 - $120,000. Final agreed upon compensation will be commensurate with individual education, professional designation, experience, internal parity, and location.

Physical Demands

Field work and travel are expected to be a part of this position. With or without accommodation, employees are expected to perform the following activities :

Qualifications / Education / Memberships :

o Experience with project management, keeping within budget and timelines

o Permitting and compliance for mining and industrial facilities

o Hazardous waste management

o Development and implementation of stormwater pollution prevention plans and / or Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasures plans

o Experience conducting environmental compliance audits / inspections or environmental document review at industrial facilities

o Collection of stormwater, wastewater, soil, and / or groundwater samples for laboratory analyses
