• drive and picks up students, clients, and occasionally parents. maintain and update route sheets, including left & rights (directions). monitor and maintain order among the students on the school van following school policies. complete daily van safety checks. check and add fuel, oil, and water as needed. ensure the van is maintained in a safe operating condition. submit reports on mechanical defects and other reports as assigned. attends driver safety meetings. use good judgment concerning laws, policies, and rules while operating their assigned vehicle.  actively maintains safe driving practices and emergency van evacuation procedures.
