Description
The University of Iowa Health Care department of Food & Nutrition is seeking a Behavioral Health Clinical Dietitian. This position uses Nutrition Care Process to assess, evaluate, and provide medical nutrition therapy and nutrition counseling for adult and geriatric inpatients on the behavioral health units. Teaches dietetic students. Participates in multidisciplinary teams and develops nutritional components of care. Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development appropriate to the patient's status according to age.

The department intends to hire one candidate from either Clinical Dietitian I classification or Clinical Dietitian II classification, based on the qualifications of the successful candidate. Please specific which classification you which to be considered or both in your application.

Salary : $57,000 - Commensurate

Candidates registered prior to January 01, 2024 a Bachelor's degree in Foods and Nutrition or Dietetics is required.
