Responsibilities :
- Offer personal attention when pursuing new clients through various marketing strategies to grow your existing portfolio of policyholders
- Keep an accurate log of sales databases, client reports, bookkeeping records, and more to share progress toward goals with key stakeholders
- Remain updated about insurance industry changes that may affect customers in your portfolio
- Collaborate with policyholders to develop insurance risk management and other profiles that specify the best policies for their evolving insurance needs
- Spend time listening to existing, new, and prospective clients to evaluate their needs and stage-of-life priorities before presenting insurance plan options for their specific circumstances
- Discuss financial concerns and needs with potential clients identified during the prospecting process
- Develop and employ marketing and business plans
- Ensure effective insurance, retirement, and business planning education through an array of service offerings, including high-quality insurance, fixed annuities, long-term care insurance, securities, investments, and more
- Improve your professional skills and knowledge through the New York Life training curriculum
- Secure optional licenses for selling securities and investment products for wealth management and advanced planning
Qualifications :
