A health services organization in Buffalo is looking to add a licensed Adult Psychiatrist to join their growing Inpatient team. Responsibilities : The Adult Psychiatrist will be responsible for : Admission and discharge of patients, including psychiatric examination, evaluation and assessment Facilitating group / family education and therapy Ordering suicide precautions Providing treatment of children and adolescents, including individual, supportive, behavioral, cognitive and insight oriented therapy Ordering laboratory tests or diagnostic assessments, including consultation with medical specialty providers Performing first aid and medical triage, including initial physical examination on new admissions Performing other duties, as needed Qualifications : 1+ year of post-Residency experience License to practice in the State of New York Board Eligible Certified in Adult Psychiatry Valid National Provider Identification Number (NPI) Valid Federal Narcotics Number (DEA Number) Enrolled in CMS and remain an unconditional participating provider in the Medicare and Medicaid OPRA programs
