TMB, Inc has an exciting contingent opportunity for a Configuration Manager to provide support to the PMS 515 Frigate Shipbuilding Acquisition Program Office in Program Executive Office Unmanned and Small Combatants (PEO USC).
Responsibilities
- Responsible for configuration management issues associated with maintaining and controlling all hardware inventory, documentation, product releases, and software configuration management.
- Work closely with the Configuration Control Board in defining and implementing procedures for releasing new products throughout the entire life cycle.
- Provide change management and product configuration management guidance.
Qualifications
At least 7 years of experience in Navy Shipbuilding and defense systems.Preferred experience in managing Configuration Management (CM) at a ship platform level and systems level. Familiarity with CM within the Siemens Teamcenter environment or similar Product Lifecycle Management software application.Bachelor’s degree.Must be a United States citizen.Must possess an active DOD Secret security clearance.Proficiency using Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Outstanding verbal and written communications skills.Ability to perform frequent internal and external customer interface including regularly scheduled and ad hoc meetings.Ability to travel reasonable distances (up to ½ mile one way) to meet with customers or other company personnel in the execution of job functions.Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds in order to carry a laptop, notebooks, papers, binders and other tools and equipment required in the execution of job functions.Benefits
