Senior Design Engineer(Hybrid)

As a Senior Design Engineer you will be responsible for performing design work contributing to projects and serving as a technical contributor on cross-functional teams. You will play an integral role in advancing projects through all phases of the design and development process from concept to market launch leveraging your engineering expertise problem-solving skills and collaboration to bring innovative Sports Medicine products to life

You will need to live within commuting distance to our Denver Colorado office. You will work in a hybrid model for this role

What you will do

• Design develop modify and verify mechanical components and sub-systems for medical devices under minimal supervision.
• Translate user and clinical needs into engineering specifications producing sub-system and component-level designs that are manufacturable reliable and cost-efficient.
• Develop and analyze solutions through prototyping testing and verification to demonstrate proof of concept and ensure design robustness.
• Apply advanced problem-solving skills to resolve complex product design issues and make data-driven design tradeoffs with minimal supervision.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D Quality Manufacturing Regulatory Clinical and Marketing to advance projects through the full development lifecycle.
• Create and refine engineering documentation including Design History Files design documents and reports in alignment with design controls and risk management per the Quality Management System.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of product use clinical procedures and customer needs to inform design inputs and enhance patient outcomes.
• Uphold compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements while delivering high-quality results with ownership energy and accountability.
